The LA84 Foundation Science of Sport program focuses on providing an engaging STEM curriculum that has impacted over 7,500 students throughout the Los Angeles area.  Thanks to a partnership with Los Angeles Unified School District, the LA84 Foundation Science of Sport program focuses on STEM through basketball, gymnastics, soccer, track and field, swimming, golf, tennis, football, and volleyball. The curriculum incorporates lessons that 3rd through 8th grade teachers use during school or after school.  The lessons align with California Math, Science, and Physical Education standards. Each school received a Science of Sport kit that includes classroom and sporting materials needed to perform the lessons. This program currently includes:
