The Seattle Sounders Science of Soccer program presented by the RAVE Foundation provides a mechanism for students to improve their academic performance. Our goal is to translate the love of soccer into an appreciation, understanding, and passion of science and mathematics underlying the sport. City of Renton, Highline schools, and Seattle Parks educators (Math, Science, & P.E.) were invited out to the Seattle Sounders Science of Soccer Training workshop at CenturyLink Field. Teachers were provided with a Science of Soccer teacher curriculum filled with soccer lessons and a soccer kit to bring back to the classroom. This program currently includes:

• 6th through 8th grade level curriculum
• Teacher Workshop and Teacher Kits
