The Oakland A’s Science of Baseball presented by Chevron started in 2018. This program targeted East Bay Area schools with Science of Baseball curriculum and kits, as well as field trip opportunities for students. The Science of Baseball STEM Showcase at Education Day at the Oakland Coliseum featured a live demonstration from Dr. Ricardo Valerdi, Science of Baseball activity stations, and Science of Baseball STEM projects created by the students throughout the Bay Area.
